1. Bruce Springsteen Annoys British Band By Opening Their Hometown Venue
    link

    hehehe
  2. I read that this morning. That's just childish. Yes, it's their hometown but so what? They aren't even that good anymore. Kaiser Chiefs lost it ages ago and it would genuinely surprise me if they have sold out that Leeds Arena show. They couldn't even sell out the Barrowlands show in Glasgow.
  3. they're understandable .. they bragged with their relatives

  4. maybe they believe they should open everything in leeds, they opened the 02 academy a few years ago which is down the road from the new arena and probably more their size. I don't think being everpresent at festivals has helped them and i'd say whoever advised them not to take a break a few years ago was just inept as it would have done them good instead of churning out album after album just to do isle of wight, glastonbury, t in the park etc on a conveyer belt basis.
  5. What's funny is that I just looked for Kaiser Chiefs @ Leeds Arena tickets and both standing & seating are available. Playing to a half-empty arena by the looks of things...
  6. You'd hate to be admission or security with that amount of people, too much pressure,
but I must say they do look orderly at least,
And the weather dont look too bad does it?
  7. Katja here another one worth to be considered for me of course

Sherry Darling - 1999-08-06 East Rutherford (lovely)
(the pair Out In The Street - Tenth Avenue is not bad at all too)

i love that almost one month long ride in East Rutherford .. i do love that tour in its entirety

  8. rather them than me as clover knows i got mine yesterday, my 'queueing' involved livenations site crashing, boiling the kettle, making some tea, trying again, refreshing the site a couple of times and by 10am i had a couple of seated tickets. The temperatures in leeds were in the minuses today, compare and contrast?
