don't believe we could expect anything different from a first date of a leg in a new continent, a first of two dates at the same venue and a first after a decade there
i'm sure that the kangaroos too are still jumping hehe
Bruce crowd surfed on top of me in Hungry Heart.. Murder Inc, Ghost and Because the Night probably the best three songs of the night other than the big hits. Saints cover second up was kinda nice and completely took the crowd by surprise. Crowd was fantastic, loud and Bruce and the band were clearly appreciative. Concert was a little short for Bruce's standards of late but still over 3 hours. Tom Morello was absolutely amazing on guitar and in Steve's absence Nils has stepped up a gear and become even more prominent and showcased his prowess brilliantly. All in all a good concert for the first of a new leg of the tour after a lengthy break, with a new guitarist. I not expecting anything completely different at Brisbane 2, but by the time Hanging Rock comes around prepare for anything. 9/10
