1. if i'm not wrong a youtube rip version had a glimpse on dime(?) .. soon removed
personally i'm not fond of that kind of versions
  2. Yeah that YouTube rip is listenable but ends towards the end of blinded by the light. I'm taking a sign for the promise tomorrow, my dearest mother is taking a sign saying "let's roadhouse? Ramrod". Hopefully we get one picked out.

    You aiming for first row?
  4. OH SHIT

  5. Aiming for first two. Was 3rd row at Brisbane 1 and 2nd row at Brisbane 2. Played his guitar in BTR on night 2 so if I can get that close I'm sure my sign will be close enough to get picked out..
  6. What do you mean by "played his guitar" ?
  7. During born to run bruce comes to the edge of the stage and positions himself so that those on the front two to three rows can reach his guitar in the build up to the 'highways jammed' line.

Oh, didn't know it... That is SO cool....... Wish I was there so badly
  9. Yeah it's pretty cool doing that. Looks like we've got a real good shot at getting one step up too, was on the setlist for Melbourne 2 but missed out and sound checked before Melbourne 3,but I haven't seen the written setlist. Maybe ade knows more. Just hoping I'm not too late for a number by the time I'm at hanging rock tomorrow
  10. Don't know anything about anyone recording at Hanging Rock ade? Just hoping it's not going to be one of those epic, amazing shows that goes unrecorded/undocumented. And yes I know if I really cared about it I would tape it, but to put it simply I'm a poor student who has saved for a long time to go see Bruce four times this tour, and if I'm going to tape, I want the recording to come out sounding great. But I can't buy great gear and see Bruce around the country while I'm at uni
  11. As i think everyone knows by now i'm not a recording snob any recording is better than none. These days we're spoiled by how good some are - if you started collecting seventies or eighties you were grateful for whatever regardless of how it sounded wich is why i can never get on with the flac only bunch. i've said it before but when they got offered their first bootleg they didn't go 'i'll wait for something better quality to turn up etc' they were too busy running around the schoolyard saying 'you'll never guess what i've got' (though most people would have replied 'nits'?) my ancient cassette recorder still works, i doubt security would even know what it was. If no one else tapes a gig it doesn't matter what the sound on yours is like. I think i said to clover when i was busy trying to get tickets for leeds someone over on btx had said they hoped because they hadn't got tickets and touts were already charging hundreds of pounds for them that he went and did 3 hours of unreleased stuff that night. That's my dream come true just think what i can get from his inner circle traders for that bootleg.
