    Yeah not sure how he does it. Huge effort for anyone, especially someone of his age. Would still outlast and outplay plenty of younger drummers, methinks.

    yeah but if bruce pisses him off max can just retaliate with a very heavy bass drum.
  4. Absolutely. Drums are the (physically) toughest instrument, and most drummers are exhausted after 2 hours, so I just can't explain how a 60 (?) years old guy can play for 3, 3'5 or 4 hours each few nights. Even if Bruce songs are pretty simple to play on the drums, it's still a brutal effort.

    listening to the crystal cat version of paris 2 well worth replacing any old versions anyone might have.

    Still can't believe the LA show is an audience tape. No idea how you can capture a show that well off mics in the crowd, especially 30 years ago. CC Paris 2 is the only version of the show that I have. Good stuff.
  8. Hopefully for some unknown reason Crystal Cat ventured out over here to Aus and taped all the shows here for a release, that would be lovely!

    To keep people from asking:
    Since this 'remaster' is from MarkP's master recording, this doesn't have the cuts every other release has.
    'This Land Is Your Land' which was missing from other versions, is complete on this one.
    'Twist & Shout' was missing half the song - it's complete on this one.
    Only cut on this is in the beginning of "Who'll Stop The Rain?", which was on all the other version too. (Tried to fix it)
    To sum it up, this is much better than all the old 'releases' of this legendary show.
