1. Oh really WTF HONESTLY

Does two shows at Hanging Rock in the middle of nowhere where there was nothing else to do other than line up for a couple days (where a fair proportion of the pit had already seen half a dozen shows on the tour in the last two weeks) and he doesn't do a preshow set, yet he does one first show back in Europe! Great! Ah well

Preshow set would be enough for me to go home happy with, All That Heaven Will Allow, Growing Up and The Fever, just wow.

Other than that, pretty nice set, nothing completely unseen (other than the tour premiere), Better Days, Prove It 78 and a solo For You are a nice touch.
  2. really really "not bad" for a first of a tour and a first of a two.
and the entrance of Stevie .. well he's Stevie
  3. Yeah night 2 might get really interesting
  4. new brisbane's coming soon
  5. night 2 opens with leap of faith (oh yes please)

    and on

    1. LEAP OF FAITH
    2. The Promised Land
    3. Downbound Train
    4. Cover Me
    5. Out In The Street
    6. We Take Care of Our Own
    7. Wrecking Ball
    8. death to my hometown
    9. spirit
    10. saving up

  6. there's an idiot at the front with a light of day sign, come on own up who put them up to it?

take a sign for this fool

  7. at least he picked up Saving Up instead

    11. Atlantic City

    nice start again uh
  8. yeah but that sign's going to there all the way through just beckoning him - in his own words "it's a song that lends itself to schtick, you can stop it, start it etc", as i've said before it just goes on and on. In a parallel universe there will be a bruce springsteen circa 1988 who is still playing light of day and it's now been going 25 years and no one has noticed.
  9. murder inc> johnnny 99 thought he might have thrown one step up in there. i'd guess youngstown is just around the corner
