Was at a conference in Milano these days and when I heard that The Boss is in town...
Well I got the tickets for me and my mate 5 mins before the show from the scalpers for a decent price (the concert was sold out), went in...
... and the rest is history. I'm a big fan of Bruce (never saw him live since yesterday), I know what to expect from the Italian crowd, I'm in love in San Siro as a concert venue (I saw 4 u2 shows at San Siro (2x Vertigo + 2x on 360), I have seen tons of concerts in my life and all I can say is, that I was blowned away...
This is man is unbelievable, for 3 1/2 hours the crowd went nuts (age range 10-65yrs, I'm not kidding)., no breaks, no fancy gadgets, no heavy preaching, no lemons and claws... just a man, a band and the crowd... he has such a power, such a passion...
I know that (at least for the casuals) yesterday, the Born in the USA factor with all the hits kept the crowd going on and on, but still...

I saw u2 for 15 times over the last 20 years and all I can say is that yesterday gig would easily fit in TOP 5 of them...
i don't know how all the 3 rings of the stadium are still there at their place .. so powerful so energetic very very pulled from Land of Hope till The River a fantastic breathless run .. MOrricone intro to Land i was almost moved .. quite unpredictable with some very nice rarities, Long Tall Sally/Good Golly, Loose Ends (love it)
beautiful the sequence Wrecking Ball to The River for the issues involved .. American Land at that point is pure madness hehe
Born in the USA moment .. in memory of the 1st of 5 concerts here in San Siro ... you know it's not my favourite album, but probably it was the best choice, for recalling that 1985 gig and also to drive the 60.000s crazy .. like it happened from start to end
and songs like Cover me, I'm goin Down, My Hometown, I'm on Fire and Downbound Train are not that usual ... so enjoyed it really a lot.
then other 5 songs to end a very long main set with an unexpected Hungry Heart closing it .. Bruce seemed quite done at this point .. almost on his knees but he "resuscitated" to put out another hell of encore starting with a sweet and beautiful This Land is Your Land into We Are Alive
from Born to Run on and incredible and awesome party involving the band and the whole stadium ... unbelievable the double Twist and Shout - Shout .. the latter decided at the moment
then after hailing each members he turned back to hail us but seeing what's going on he took guitar and harmonica and .. the magic pearl of Thunder Road acoustic
he gave everything he had, every single crumb of energy .. he seemed not to be willing of going away but he was really really done by then .. and probably us audience too hehehe
i didn't see well the choreography at the time they did, at the beginning and on Born To Run, but from the look of Bruce (and Stevie) it should have been wonderful and touching for him
well 34 songs for almost 3hour and half, pulled from the first to the last minute, once again showed that the alchemy Boss-San Siro never betrays .. it always surprise each time

Maybe now I can get to feel joy over my gig in this topic? BITUSA live is awesome, because the crowd is what makes concerts great and they like BITUSA. It makes for a great concert.
Italia! Milano! San Siro! You hardy need to say anything else to describe the perfect rock show at a big stadium.

Bruce left the stage after 34 songs and almost 210 minutes, and on a big screen under the main stand appeared a short video with memories of all five appearences at this stadium, a poignant end to a concert experience filled with all the joys of playing for such a engaged and vocal audience. It was such an incredibly intense show, it's hard for mere words to do it any justice. Perhaps these are best: Italia! Milano! San Siro! Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band!
