  1. I think there's excessive whining in this thread. I was at a BITUSA concert. It was great. Bruce plays for the entire crowd, not only the 50 hardcores up front. People love Born In The USA. Playing it makes fans happy. I was initially a bit critical towards it, feeling I'd get it and not wanting it (it isn't my favorite Bruce album by any means, that's Nebraska. To me it's too mainstream and such), but wow was it amazing live. I'm in rather good shape and I was really tired after BITUSA, so many energetic songs to jump to. No Surrender was the highlight of the concert.

  8. The reason that Springsteen also played Born in the Usa at Hard Rock Calling could be the fact that there where many technical problems at the beginning and also the stage was not finished when Springsteen started. (so a safe concert)
