Yeah, the bass roll-off isn't useful (it's even harmful) most times, almost everything it does can be done at post-pro and with better and more controlled results. There are very few times when bass roll-off should be actually used - for example when the bass is extremely bumpy or prominent at the venue (although changing location might be the way to go instead of applying the roll-off) or when there's a certain kind of wind. The rest of the times, an excess of bass in the final recording can be removed at post-pro!
Anyway, ferrari, I don't think that loftarasa has much/anything to do with a supposed 3rd Rome bootleg
