  1. Starting a concert like Springsteen sometimes does is not a way for U2 opening a concert, I think.

    The way for U2 is increasing up the "voltage" in the stadium with the music on the speakers, the intro and then a big BANG.
  2. but what Bruce does is not another way to start a concert .. it's just an extemporized extra

  3. Personally I do not like so much the solo opening of a concert.

    example Padova .. you don't like the start with Tom Joad solo acoustic it's ok .. i loved it
    but what about the pre-set (regardless of the songs played) that happened 2hours and half - 3hours before the concert started?
  5. ^ that is what I (think) I (would) dislike. Opening a concert solo is another matter and depending on the song and the concert circumstances it can be amazing.

  10. how the hell do you know what i like or don't like about u2 - a u2 fan since 2007 telling someone who was there from 1981 onwards! i suspect even they don't know the setlist yet and no one knows when it starts so you're just talking bollocks all round really aren't you.
