yeah though whether that's the acoustics which they have claimed to have worked on and said is a partial reason for the odd shape or there's been a bit of a mismatch going on because he's had too small pa's in the outdoor venues or whether some of the poor sound reviews were worsened by the lack of soundchecks who knows. You would only know i guess if you went to see elton or leonard cohen at the same venue - don't think the kaiser chiefs would prove anything as their songs are pretty one size fits all. i don't think it was anything to do with the 'recording' as he records them all - as we know u2 do - i've seen comments about signs saying the 'artist is recording' where people are assuming it's going to be released - i've seen plenty of signs saying something like 'by entering this venue you consent to audio/visual recording' it's virtually meaningless.
