1. If there is a future tour i think it will just cover a maximum of three months, no back to back shows, probably during summer only etc.But i still think this is it, the end. And i still think it should have finished in australia. One of my friends said the other night, without any encouragement, they look 'knackered' - whether that was due to the tour as a whole, the back to back cardiff/leeds or just the heat?

They looked buggered while they were over here too. I think Aus would have been the perfect end to the tour. Not too long, just the right length. The Goldilocks scenario. Too hot (good) to finish in Europe after the first leg, now its gone cold (not as good). Australia would have been just right.

I hope the Boss still wants to tour solo if this is the end.
  3. it wasn't quite as bad inside as out but in leeds on wednesday afternoon it was absolutely roasting hot. Went early to meet someone and even before 1pm the train station was full of people in bruce t-shirts so i think a lot of folk would have been knackered from the heat. There weren't many back to back shows on this tour that involved travelling though cardiff to leeds is hardly a marathon trek when you're used to it - i'd hate it because i hate travelling at all these days - the stones i think have had no back to back gigs at all this year off the top of my head and it's been quite short so maybe he should adopt their model and maybe shorten them to 2.5 hours.

i really hope the next one is solo.

  4. mainly this

none of them are remotely close to be done .. Bruce ahead
remember the words of Stevie? future could be easily shorter tours in term of number of gigs and maybe not 3h and half every night hehe
all aside of Bruce solo .. it could be also a mix who knows

by the way i completely disagree with the statement this tour should have ended in Australia .. there were many great concerts and some even very above average .. and a nice couple to come yet
not to forget the "madness" of South Americans ..
  5. ^^^ That was one of the highlights when I saw him in Charlottesville last year. It was one of the better guitar solos I've seen live, and this song is much better with it than it was on the album.
