1. ade's favourite from the reunion era!
  2. ha ha, i don't share everyone's affection for it - too much messing about - detroit medley-american land- twist and shout - i can think of better things to do with that half hour - Lily carter?
  3. I enjoy it. I'd happily enjoy Lily Carter for half an hour but I doubt I need that much time with someone like that

Best shows of the Reunion era then ade? I know you've definitely listened to A LOT more shows than I have
  4. i like any of the philadelphia and boston shows from 1999, still got a soft spot for the first night in barcelona 1999 mainly because that land of hope annd dreams walks all over every other. i'm legally obliged to have both madison square gardens november 2009 and both paris 2012. philadelphia 20/10/09 that opens with price you pay for shock value. Oakland/la/cleveland/colombus october/november 1999 for the quality of the boots. don't have a lot to say for the rising tour other than atlantic city march 2003. tampa 2008 for danny, red bank 7/5/08 because of the novelty at the time (if only that was still true). the last show with clarence from buffalo november 2009 because of what it is (and because he plays the angel - i know it's a joke couldn't resist). That'll do for now - surprise eh absolutely nothing from europe 2013 i wonder why.

I'll get lily to bring a friend, say shyla jennings, they can entertain themselves for 28 minutes!

Well I'm still young so I only need a few moments to recharge!
  6. Yeah the Boston/LA/Philly and MSG stands from the Reunion tour were outstanding. I like Atlantic City from the Rising tour as well, I saw the show after that one so they must have been in good form

St Louis 08 is outstanding. I also like Milan 07.

Buffalo and the MSG shows from 09 I'm with you, classics, will go down in Bruce folklore.

From WB I'd have to say Paris 2012, Fenway 2 and Gothenburg both nights although his voice is shot.

My main problem with anything post Magic is the setlists. Although Bruce pulls out all kinds of surprises for us on a nightly basis, I often find that the setlists don't flow particularly well and because of some of the spontaneity he makes some stupid decisions (aka Jungleland > Pay Me My Money Down 2013, Wreck on the Highway > Sunny day at the River show, Darkness > Johnny 99 Milan 2012, Jackon Cage > Open all Night HR2 etc just some of the transitions that suck major cock for me)
  7. show off!

i've copied this from a post on btx, the link brings up a spreadsheet to download (column c may need widening when you open it)

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's a file combining the "top 55 list" and the "best sounding shows" list that are (or were in) to other threads. I've created this worksheet to include a column for tour, date, rank, venue and title. This done, you can sort it any way that makes you happy and make some iTunes lists if you've got the dates in the titles.

The date listed is YYYY-MM-DD and is a uniform 10 characters.
