1. We're they just put in there as filler? Fearing that it would look too short? Look at BTR (8 songs) and WIESS (7 songs). *shrugs*

"Dream Baby Dream" is a beautiful closer. I was lucky enough to witness it back in 2005. And it was my first show. Brilliant gig. Wouldn't mind seeing him solo again...
  2. Not sure. This one seems as if it is very strong thematically to me though. So maybe that's what's with the inclusion of all of random (disjointed?) outtakes, originals (?) and covers.

    Solo would be great
  3. I gotta say the cover art is fairly trash in my opinion
  4. This may or may not be Heaven's Wall. Still no idea yet though.

    Scrap that.

''High Hopes' finds Bruce Springsteen in a number of different musical settings, and includes the E Street Band members in various large and small combinations as well as guitarist Tom Morello on eight tracks. Besides Morello, the album also includes appearances on several songs by Clarence Clemons, who passed away in 2011, and Danny Federici, who passed away in 2008, on what Springsteen calls "some of our best unreleased material from the past decade." The album was recorded in New Jersey, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Australia and New York City and marks Springsteen's 18th studio album. As Bruce writes in the albums liner notes, "I felt they were among the best of my writing and deserved a proper studio recording."

The AMAZON BONUS LIMITED EDITION* version also includes a live DVD of Bruce and the E Street Band performing the entire "Born In The U.S.A." album in London, England, during the historic Wrecking Ball World Tour.

*This version will be available for a LIMITED TIME ONLY.'

If Down in the Hole or Heaven's Wall were to be covers, one would assume that the original songwriters would be credited the same as they are in High Hopes, Dream Baby Dream and Just Like Fire Would.
  5. The DVD with BITUSA worries me though. Not particularly keen on a full album BITUSA show when Bruce is back over here. This release is getting me nervous about that now.
  6. Happy with another "new" Springsteen cd. Sounds interesting to me.

I do not know what it is with BITUSA these years. Still hope for a complete WB live dvd, with the played songs of WB.
  7. the only thing i'm "tired" of is having video always from London lately
  8. I thought you'd be used to Landau and Bruce's recycling of footage?
  9. New Bruce album is always good news imo. But its a bit of a shame that 3 songs are pretty well known (for me at least).

Ah well, its still something nice It's only been 2 years since Wrecking Ball was released so its fast, especially comparing with our Irish friends.
  10. ^ you described my feelings exactly. Also, eager for a new tour
  11. I'm not sure there will be one.
