    Darkness On The Edge Of Town, or perhaps Born To Run.

    I'd advise you to first see if you can find this box though, his seven first albums, eight CDs in all. Dunno if it's available for a reasonable price where you live though, but here it's a steal.

    If you want to stick to studio albums, I think Born To Run is the one.

    Other than that, I started to be a Bruce fan with The Essential (3CD compilation of his works until 2003) and Live 1975-85, both of them borrowed from my uncle (to whom we call Pato by the way ).

    Born in the USA and Born to Run, for sure. They are his most accessible albums and biggest sellers for a reason.
