1. i agree 110% with dylbagz. 41, Down In the Hole and The Wall are among the best songs of the new album. Ghost sounds like it was made on an Ipad, doesn't work at all.

Just Like Fire Would reminds me so much of another song, but i can't seem to point the finger on which one.

anyone who hear the same similarity? (i don't mean another Springsteen-song, but i've heard that same melody somewhere else)

the first time i heard Harry's Place on my PC, i thought you tube accidentally had started some lousy 80's pop song. horrible horrible sound on this one.
  2. Just Like Fire Would is a cover of The Saints.
Down In The Hole sounds like Springsteens classic "I´m on Fire".

Overall its a good album with somw great surpises

yeah i know it's a cover by The Saints, but it still reminds me of another song, apart from The Saints' song.

There's quite a bit of Mellencamp influence on this one. Just Like Fire Would sounds very similar to Mellencamp's Small Town and there are Pink Houses influences in another track too
  5. Listening to the album, does anyone think that The Wall might open the encores into Born in the USA like Rocky Ground did recently? The solo piano versions from years ago would work nicely as a solo slot.

Or Lost in the Flood and The Wall midset?

Still not sure on Harry's Place. Just Like Fire Would is fun.

Well... it holds the record for being Bruce's most profane song. The F bomb was used 3 times! LOL

Anyway, HH is an enjoyable listen. It's not better than WB, but I wasn't expecting it to be.
  7. I find it enjoyable too. I just hope one or two of the new songs translate well into the live setting (excluding songs we've already seen). Not overly sure that they will though.
  8. I'am creating a Springsteen collection of the best audio recording (only complete concerts, no dvd rips) of each tour.

For now I am looking for recordings of the Lucky Touch Tour. (yes, I know with that "other band", sorry for this )

So hope someone have some info for me?
  9. Kick off is good
  10. i guess he was meaning the start of the tour .. probably hehe
Stockholm -> Milano .. not bad places for Bruce hehe
uhmmm nice back to back months that year at the Forum for me
    21-22 may U2
    20-21 june Bruce

anyway i have to think a bit and rechecked that tour .. it's been a long while i don't pass through it
