  1. The Highway to Hell covers are outstanding. Don't see why he'd do that outside of Australia, but I would hope so much that he'd do something equally cool on the US leg.

    Is there any American band that you North Americans feel as close to you as Australians feel ACDC? Only Bruce himself comes to mind. Bruce covering himself would be actually pretty funny.
  3. That's a good point - I think Springsteen is the closest thing we have to an artist that represents a country. I suppose you could say Bob Dylan, but hardly anyone would associate him with "America" as much as they would a traveler, a poet, a rebel. Springsteen has always been more about our roots and our lifestyle.
  4. When i think of a singer who embodies the USA i think of Springsteen, I'd rather Aus be known for INXS than ACDC

  6. AC/DC made history with a simple rock groove that acquainted hundreds of their songs and did not deviate from that. INXS were maybe more musically profound but never really took off after Kick. Yeah, they played Wembley Stadium, but it dipped after that. AC/DC have been consistent. Besides, INXS are/were hugely arrogant. I watched that documentary on Kick, and they couldn't stop mentioning how great a band they were, and how amazing Kick was along with each song being a masterpiece. It's a very good album, but steady on.

    I think INXS did a awesome career ( with Michael of course) and probably race with U2 . INXS was more popular but sure ACDC made more history because their music and the many years of career
