1. Just listened to the new album and there are some really good songs, but I expected much more from The Boss.

Expected another "Born To Run" or "Darkness On The Edge Of Town," huh? C'mon now.Your writing doesn't improve as you age. I'm sure most people didn't buy NLOTH & think, "Gee, I'm sure this will be as brilliant as Achtung Baby.."

Your politeness dramatically dicreases with yours, too.
  4. Whatever. Just being reasonable.

I did. And it's close IMO.

  6. yes you're right but the Seeger Session Band is not the E Street Band
    we have
    3 to 5 guitars
    1 violin
    2 keyboards/piano
    1 bass
    1 drum
    3 choristers
    5 wind instruments
ok he want to substitute Clarence with a large section (included 2 sax), but for me sometimes too many people play guitar (Bruce, Steve and Nils is "enough"); same and even more 3 at choirs, maybe just 1 could do what is needed if it is really needed .. just take Patti Scialfa if you can't stay without her
maybe it's just me being for more essential stuff.
i'm just doing a consideration .. not complaining here .. what i hear from the Apollo is good with some low points but surely good in the whole
  7. Bruce Springsteen, E Street Band have private rehearsal in Asbury Park

"I Ain't Got No Home" (cover)
"Long Walk Home," "The Ghost of Tom Joad," and "Vigilante Man."

  8. 4 days to the start
  9. I'm one of the few hardcores that has nothing against "Waitin' On A Sunny Day." It's over-played but it's definitely a well-written pop song that the crowd eats alive. And it's one of his few "happy" songs that are actually good..

As for signs, I'm glad that's being surrendered. The "stump the band" covers got really old after a while. Most of the time, he was just performing bar band songs (like "You Really Got Me" by The Kinks) that nobody cared about. Or if he was in the mood to use one of his own, it wasn't much of a curve ball & it would make the shows more predictable.
