  2. 4 days to the start
  3. I'm one of the few hardcores that has nothing against "Waitin' On A Sunny Day." It's over-played but it's definitely a well-written pop song that the crowd eats alive. And it's one of his few "happy" songs that are actually good..

As for signs, I'm glad that's being surrendered. The "stump the band" covers got really old after a while. Most of the time, he was just performing bar band songs (like "You Really Got Me" by The Kinks) that nobody cared about. Or if he was in the mood to use one of his own, it wasn't much of a curve ball & it would make the shows more predictable.
  4. Bruce's new album Wrecking Ball first received rave reviews from the press, and now the fans have spoken, too! The album debuted at #1 on the charts in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This is Bruce's 10th #1 album in the United States, tying him with Elvis Presley for the third most #1 albums in US chart history. Congratulations to Bruce, and thank you to everyone who helped Wrecking Ball top the charts!

  6. Tom Morello? What does Rage Against The Machine have to do with Bruce Springsteen or his E Street Band? Oh well...

I like Thunder Road as main set closer, but there are too many classics lost. Maybe Jungleland is not to be performed again after Clarence passing, but what about The River, Born To Run, Spirit In The Night, Because The Night, Rosalita, etc, etc, etc? Not liking their warm-ups so far. Too many people on stage and very few interesting things actually happening on stage. Well, let the actual tour start I'd say.
  7. after the end of Audioslave Morello is dedicating himself in folk music too
  8. this was basically a showcase (something similar at Apollo) and he played something like more than 2 hours and half ... not bad (Noel Gallagher in Milano around 40mins if i'm not wrong)
what will be in the regular gigs?
there will definetely be place for more classics and more and more ...
i think he used these 2 dates also for "rehearsing" the new songs

Tom Morello is on Wrecking Ball His guitar work is to be found on Jack Of All Trades and Death To My Hometown.
  10. I didn't know that. Thank you both

Jack Of All Trades is maybe my favorite song off the album.
  11. Also, Rage Against the Machine covered "The Ghost of Tom Joad" on their Renegades record. This led to an invitation by Bruce to play with the E Street Band during the Magic tour. Subsequently, Tom has played with them at a number of gigs as well as appearing on the new record.
