1. i don't mind - the odd break comes in useful. Though not the complete works of the beatles, there's handy and there's taking the piss...
  2. No U2 until summer 2020.

So this weekend listened to (almost) to 2 Springsteen shows. Brisbane and Mönchengladbach 2012. (new CC release).

    Brisbane:
the first 18 songs, just one description:
F... AWSOME PERFORMANCE and very good audio.
    (Only remark, 4 guitars??.)

Darlington and WOSD I have deleted, they spoils the great feeling of the first 18.
The rest of the setlist is business as usual. Some more recent songs would be nice Bruce.

Luckily the Aussies have chosen "something special" and not for the signs. But I think they chose all what Bruce asks for

Also very curious to the sound quality of the new CC Mönchengladbach. Good, best if the show so far, but misses a bit the "live concert atmosphere".
I like to hear the reaction of the audience on songs when I listen to a concert. That day the Germans where more loud then they used to be.
Also the guitars are not very noticeable.
  3. unfortunately that just looks like more bruce as bruce wants to be seen, no ground breaking questions, pre-agreed, well rehearsed.
  4. It took a few listens, but damn Girls In Their Summer Clothes from Perth II is just fucking beautiful.

Someone on btx said that the interviews with Bruce in the preview have been recycled from ones he did on E St radio, so there's barely anything new other than the footage
  6. it looks like it will be a longer version of footage that was sent to tv stations around the world to promote high hopes
  7. secret garden from leeds is amazing
  8. i just listened to the studio version, one of my favorites.
  9. @Glen_Hansard

Learning all we can.. Drinking in every moment.. What a tour..

    good boys

shame they didn't invite some other dubliners
  10. Other dubliners should be busy in Dublin finishing up an album, y'know?

Great photo, great musicians. Love them.
