good god, just nearly listened to light of day by accident, wow, that was a close call thank god for the skip function. iem or not i'm not putting myself through that.

I'm still yet to have ever sat through light of day in full. If he played it at a show I was at I'd nearly have to leave. Couldn't tell you one lyric from the song

let's face it you've got time to go home, cook a meal and come back, and it might, though not guaranteed, have finished. Or he could still be stuck on false ending number 37. he got married and divorced during the first version.

the first line is 'well i've been out of the woods for six days and nights' which is probably a bit of a clue as to how long the songs gonna go on for. later on there's something about 'my ears are bleeding' and 'how the hell do i stop this this'.

never mind the young ones. the police's original reunion setlist and rehearsals were a 2.5 hour show. By the time it started it was 110 minutes which ended up at the end of the tour as a little over 90! Which is just a couple of 'light of day's'.
