1. From his/their twitter:

The Wrecking Ball Tour kicked off Sunday night in Atlanta. Here's a clip of "Death To My Hometown" to celebrate!
  2. They should have replaced "The River" with "The Wild, The Innocent..."
  3. I hate to break up the discussion on the tour, but I've got a question. What are some of the must have bootlegs and where can I find them? I have the '78 Roxy show, and that kind of stuff is what I want. I'd mainly want 70s and 80s stuff, but if there is good audio quality 2000s shows, I'll take those recommendations. I just want some great shows.

With the whole bullshit fiasco with Megauploads, I would imagine most of the links are broken but you could check. Just look out for anything labeled Ev2 & CC (Crystal Cat).

  5. Great. Thanks. I'll check some of these out.
  6. I got banned from BTX a while back because I eventually couldn't get along with those catty idiots.

    Greasy Lake is way better.

I hope the Gothenburg shows this year will be as great as they usually are. Saw a Swedish newspaper's review of the Gothenburg shows through the years... every single one had 5/5 stars. I think they like it here.
  8. i don't think anyone can get along with them, if you don't believe that the world ended after the darkness tour or you can't face eighteen different versions/remasters of the same bootleg then it's not going to work. The request thread is the only one i read now.

Ps the los angeles 81 night for the vietnam vets is essential to any bruce collection, a serious contender for the best gig of all time by anyone and nassau coliseum 31/12/80 should be in there as well at well over four hours long.
  9. I especially couldn't stand users like quantumrr, We Is The Irish & Two Lanes. Miserable, cliquish bunch they were..

Yeah, the request thread is what kept me there for all those years.

how strange you should mention quantumrr - i've had several run ins with him, mainly about bootlegs, he was always slagging off godfather releases and then in the request thread etc it would say anyone got the godfather version of - particularly when godfather came up with a great recording of vienna 2009 which i had more or less off the presses - and it took them ages to get that was so funny. He's another of the everything ends with darkness or at least the river. I also find it strange that so many of the members there claim to have seen the darkness tour which means they all have to be roughly at least 50 years old and how you can't be a real fan if you didn't see it - the fact that bruce only played three european shows up to may 1981 seems to pass them by so therefore there can only be around 10,000 real bruce fans in the whole of europe.
