In those cases (and surely many other) the ticket alarm mail only contained the information about the start of the regular sale. Or well, for The Stones in Berlin there was a special pre-sale for those who have ordered the German Bild for 0,99 E beforehand, which was the only way how to get good or even decent tickets (or maybe the gig was even sold-out in the Bild pre-sale, if not, then almost). After that one un-subscribed the Bild and it really only cost those 0,99 E. How crazy is that? There was no pre-sale for Vienna.
    And I would not call those U2 pre-sales Eventim fan-presales, those had nothing to do with the ticketalarm, it was rally the U2.com stuff, eventhough it was run via eventim of course... But wait, now I remember, that it was actually at some point possible to buy a ticket + a membership on eventim, right? That was strange :-)
    But again, it is good to know those ticket alarms still might get me an early access to tickets, I have to check my mailbox for ticket alarms more often now when we can expect some Springsteen news :-) - I have actually bought tickets to several Springsteen shows in those Eventim fan pre-sales before.
    it was eventim theirself that called it a presale and zes there was that bild presale for all shows of the stones in germany (2) and there was a pre sale for muse or for coldplay eg.

  10. Ireland is the only EU country to get 5 shows in 2013 (as far as I can remember !!) Dublin is the only EU city to get 3 nights two years in a row in 2006 & 2007. Dublin is the only city where he played 3 nights back to back (in 2006) since the early 70s !! Gotta love those stats !!
