1. Berlin FOS! I am sooooo happyyyyy! Eventim yes, yes, yes! 34E for postage is a robbery (no print at home option, at least not at the beginning of the sale), but I could not care less right now! Ticketmaster on the other hand is a total screw up, while Eventim was absolutely smooth, TM put me in a queue 5 mins before pre-sale, offering pretty much nothing (no FOS) after a long time of waiting. Anyway, my 5th Boss concert will be this June in Berlin! Bring on Vienna now!
  2. Happy for the two of you Great stuff! We have to do something in these non-U2 times right
  3. sucks. I tried 2mins then all FOS were gone. Everytime I threw them into cart "no tickets available". the prices are rip off, too.
  4. Yeap, in 2012 the FOS ticket for Bruce in Berlin was 84,5 E. In 2016 it is 121 E. With the 34 E postage it is 155 E for a ticket. Almost 2,5 times more than the U2 Berlin GA tickets the last year. Unfortunately it is a big luxury to be rock music fan these days. But I am still happy as kid in a candy store right now.

I really wish you would get a ticket, sparko, since I am sure you would do an amazing multi-cam afetwards. Keep on trying! When I was buying Gilmour tickets two weeks ago, I had an amazing ticket in my basket (1st row), but it crashed two or three steps into the payment. All good or even decent tickets were gone when I tried again. I refreshed the page for 2 hours!! Some not-so-good-not-so-bad tickets were popping up every now and then. After exactly 2 hours i scored the centre of the 7th row, which I find more than excellent after 2 hours. I am happy I kept on trying.
  5. 121 for FOS

Bruce here in Holland was 85 or something for FOS, still very expensive compared to U2 but a long way off from 121.
  6. Is it really FOS, Remy? When I look at the ductch TM, it says only GA (86.9 E). In Germany they really have FOS tickets (121 E) and GA tickets (92 E).

I am almost sure it is all GA in den Haag. There will surely be an actual separate FOS too, but it will be first-come-first-serve. Bruce does it at most places this way. From my experience, Vienna in 2009 was also GA only (79 E) and I ended up in the FOS (something like 4th row in the centre ) after queuing up since 3 p.m. For the 3 gigs I attended in 2012 I had FOS tickets (84 E in Berlin, 92 E in Vienna and something like 70 E in Prague) and ended up at pretty much exactly the same place, queuing up for hours too .
  7. In 2013 GA was 86 and FOS 96 in my city. and we have a stadium half as big as Berlin/Munich.

I just bought ridiculous expensive seats in Berlin, a friend wants try getting FOS in Munich for me.
  8. Even with a seat I am sure you will have a ball, sparko! I always go for FOS or GA when there is no FOS, but in 2006 I saw The Rolling Stones in Berlin at this very Olympic Stadium from an absolutely crappy seat in the upper ring just below the roof, really really far away (129,5 E!) and I had and absolute blast. I would not believe it if I didn't experience it, but eventhough being as close as possible is surely the best thing, having a seat won't prevent you from having an amazing time. I am sure
  9. So German tickets are more expensive than expected and the sell is being as messy as expected?

Sad to hear about the FOS tickets - I hate them. FOS, Golden Circle, Special GA or whatever they're called - it's just a rip off for fans who want to be up close. Tickets are expensive enough to overcharge them with another GA supplement. Bullshit
  10. This year GA was 90/92 and FOS 119/121 which IS a rip off. I want FOS, though. I won't be there early enough to get any decent spot in GA - I had that last time, far end of the arena, like 5m from the exit behind us. Not again. Absolutely nothing to see. And like I said, it's half as big as Berlin/Munich.

I start to hate stadium shows of any kind and the thought U2 will bring i+e outdoors next time makes me sick. Standing for me is either first or last row. I'm not able to stand "in the middle" for more than 2 songs. Not even second row.

Back of FOS would be very fine for me.

In case someone has 2 spare FOS for Munich, get back to me. Sigh.
  11. Back of FOS is a very sweet spot. Loud and (usually) clear sound, good for taping, nice if you don't want to be bumped or bothered by crowd around you... It's my favourite stadium spot besides the first rows too.

And yeah, I prefer indoor shows by a mile... I think we all do. Seeing 60.000 souls gathered together celebrating music is of course very nice, but besides that, indoor gigs have everything else on their side. But I guess the artists' egos (and wallets) prefer to be waved by 60K every night rather than 10K.
  12. Less the artist's, much more those of the agencies, promoters and venues, I suppose. I mean, do Bruce or U2 really care how big the win is in the end? I don't think so.
