Yeap, the Johnny B Goode cover in the Coldplay thread is even worse. It shows that Coldplay are really not a Rock'n'Roll band. They do their music and they do it well. I am not a fan of theirs, but I sometimes enjoy some of their music. But those cover attempts really show the differece between Springsteen, Stones... and Coldplay. Different league. Yeap, nobody can beat the pure musicianship of Bruce and The E Street band, but as I mentioned The Stones, who are not as versatile as Bruce, but their blues covers are also always fabulous. Or we can take Pearl Jam - another great example of bunch of guys with music in their blood who can always do justice to the music they love. But not Coldplay.
Chris just happens to highly uncharismatic compared to Bruce.

  2. Amazing shows...listening to N1 today...4 hr 38 song set..unreal...the Boss will be 67 next month and he plays 56 different tunes over the first 2 shows in Sweden.....these Euro gigs were just outstanding...

And that first one was easily the lesser one of the three in my mind.
  4. In terms of setlists and live perfomances Springsteen is God. On some forums there was a lot of critics about the setlists of The RIver Tour. But 129 songs in 65 songs is just awsome.

Setlist watchers from home expected all sorts of wild cards after the post-River set & whined when some did not. Even though "The River" contains a handful of rare & sparingly played songs that those fortunate enough to attend one of those shows (I saw 2) will probably never hear again
  6. And what a show and setlist NYC Serenade to open an epic show in New Jersey... speechless.
  7. He's a beast live...always has been , always will be....not sure how much longer he (they) can keep this up for....The Boss is going to be 67 next month , rest of the E street (Nils,Gary, Roy, Steven, Max) are all in their mid to late 60s......just amazing....

Listening to Oslo today....these Euro shows sound so good , as do the NA boots...they destroy the 2014 bootlegs as far as sound , which was awful IMO ....Madrid London and Sweden 1 & 2 are my favs this week....
