I don't even know want album Out of Control is from

    Well, I agree with Nick...Stay wouldn't work...

    Boy

  2. What about SBS, lots of energy, and another signature song.

We have no Americans on the list, put Springsteen on

And might I suggest replacing Sgt Peppers with something that no one can dislike like Imagine.
  3. So, this one then?
    1. Streets
    2. The Police - Every Breath You Take
    3. The Fly
    4. Coldplay - Clocks
    5. REM - Losing My Religion
    6. BD
    7. The Beatles - Sgt. Peppers
    8, WOWY
    9. Queen feat. Bowie - Under Pressure
    10. One
    11. Oasis - Supersonic
    12. Kite

    It could work

I wouldn't worry too much about where the artists are from, just whats actually on the playlist. He does have some good stuff though

    Might be a bit safer
  5. And if Stay doesn't work (which I agree with), the Fly is definitely not going to work, most of my friends laugh at how weird it is, and the band left it off the best of 1990-2000 because it dated badly, and we're going by studio versions not live, which is important in this case.

Replace it with SBS and Kite/Vertigo?

Ah, I forgot about the falsettos. Damn. Yeah, we'll need to replace it with one of those.

Well, I haven't heard many people mentioning SBS, and it's also not in our top ten fan favorites. It's great, but I guess not great enough...

I don't really got the feeling Springsteen is that popular in England

U2 played Sgt. Peppers themselves, so that would make it a great song for this U2-list... But I'm not really into the Beatles...
  8. 1. Streets
    2. The Police - Every Breath You Take
    3. UTEOTW
    4. Coldplay - Clocks
    5. REM - Losing My Religion
    6. BD
    7. The Beatles - Imagine
    8, WOWY
    9. Queen feat. Bowie - Under Pressure
    10. One
    11. Oasis - Supersonic
    12. Kite

The Fly - UTEOTW (Both 90's)
    Beatles changed...

I think we need a contemplative/soft Beatles song, not a rocker, something like Hey Jude, but thats too long (7 mins) so I suggest Imagine, RS 3rd greatest song of all time.

And Springsteen isn't really popular in UK, but some of his euro sounding suff would work.
Like Dancing in the Dark, I didn't even think it was sung by Springsteen until recently, with all the synth. It's a great song that will get people dancing guaranteed. It's also the most successfull single from Born in the USA, which has the record number of hit singles from an album (7).

And Oasis has to be either Wonderwall or Don't Look Back In Anger, signature songs. You have no idea how being even today Wonderwall is in English speaking countries.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonderwall_(song)

Not many people know of Under Pressure either...

UTEOTW has the same problems as the Fly, I think WGRYWH sounds more modern if we're choosing from AB.

lol...WGRYWH is exactly the song I dislike most of that album...
We'll put SBS there, it covers U2 begin period
And the rest of the list should stay like this IMO
  11. 1. Streets
    2. The Police - Every Breath You Take
    3. SBS/BTBS
    4. Coldplay - Clocks
    5. REM - Losing My Religion
    6. BD
    7. The Beatles - Imagine
    8, WOWY
    9. Queen feat. Bowie - Under Pressure
    10. One
    11. Oasis - Supersonic/Wonderwall
    12. Kite

Still 2 questions, with BTBS and Wonderwall as my favorites...

I'm happy with Kite, if everyone else is.
And there are a lot of Americans on the site, shouldn't we have at least one American song?

Replace Supersonic with Wonderwall, I know it probably isn't as good a song, but it is THE cult classic of the 90s. Read this and see what i'm talking about: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonderwall_(song)
