1. As a major fan of the Pro Evolution Soccer games for years I must say that Fifa 10 is fantastic. Of all the Fifa games i played for the last couple of years this one easily wins. Curious about the new PES...
  2. PES was a winner until last year. FIFA 09 was pretty good, FIFA 10 is slightly better.

PES looks a lot better on the PC but many stupid things in gameplay havent been solved.

Referee sucks though, seriously. The PC makes a lot of tackles in the penalty area, never got a penalty. Also tackling is very hard without getting a yellow card (and I am not a rough tackler in the game).

Through pass is a bit improved, in the previous version it was always to soft. Now it works a lot better, but still it can be frustrating. Sometimes its way to hard and sometimes the ball barely moves.

Freekicks from your own half are still bugged, you cant pass to the one you want most of the time. And more than acceptable it just passes the ball in the opponents feet (Just a freekick just outside the home box)

On the other hand the AI is very much improved, i have a hard time scoring at the highest level. The Masterleague is a lot better now, with a youth team and a lot of adjustable options. (Coach, Scout, Doctor, etc). You play a real season with the UEFA Champions league and the real national cup.

The interface looks better but is very complex. I hate the new formation settings, its hard to compare players and its just not easy.

  4. Agree. Last year's PES didn't show much improvements. Was way dissapointed.

I'll give it a try later on. So still those things aren't improved, what a bummer indeed

  6. Dont touch the demo, because the demo is worse than the real final version in the shops. Saves you a bit of frustration

I havent looked into fifa that much yet. But i certainly will. Too bad its plain ugly on PC
  7. Btw, noticed a strange error in Fifa. When I do the League Mode with Arsenal, my team competes two times for the EFA cup. So it's two times Arsenal on the tournament table. Which counts for the F.A. cup as well
