I find Achtung Baby everywhere, but it's damn expensive. I bought it in Ireland years ago, along with Zooropa, TUF and Rattle & Hum

be careful with that. they've really been cracking down on people who download movies illegally with ridiculous fines. you're better off finding a site to stream them.

I don't do it that much. I've started to buy movies just recently.

Remember for those who plan to download the AB remaster, McGuiness has his new crack down on illegal downloaders!

  3. I'll make sure MacPhisto burns them all in hell.

  4. Two thoughts.

    1) the guy who suggested a new topic - the discussion / speculation above is why we haven't. We'll likely create an info topic with tracklisting etc shortly. This will be closed so you can find the info easily.

    2) Moaning about how much the uber box is strikes me as like moaning that you can't afford a Ferrari. You buy a decent cheaper version at the price you can afford. We can all manage £80 if we save hard enough between now and November. Personally I'll have to put up with 3 discs of stuff I have already to have the Baby version, the remastered versions of 2 of U2's most genius albums and the documentary.

I do agree that ZooTv Sydney is a bit lame. Ah well, I'd lost my copy, so it's not so bad
  5. Good news. I really hope the band will make a few performance when it is released.

  7. I was really hoping for something live,on this release, circa 1992.The band recorded the Yankee Stadium shows (and Im sure many other gigs in '92).They did release LIB live, on the Stay cd release. So why not include that track, and a few more from that show ? Whats with the lack of live material on this release ? And whats with all the remix cd's ?.I never listen to all those ridiculous ultra remix versions.Thats not U2.I want the BANDS versions, or outtacks, rare live versions OF THE BAND.Not a Howie B or Flood ultra dub club hub night vision version remix. But,hey, thats just me.

Im not complaining,(well, maybe I'am)but, the Sydney DVD is included ? Really ? Like most,I already BOUGHT that, when it was FINALLY released on DVD, a few years back.Imagine, if the band included Rattle and Hum, with the JT deluxe set, instead of the Live in Paris gig.

The Live In Sydney CD (fanclub release) would have been nice treat.I already have it,but I know many, who were not in the fan club back then.U2 ,as we all know,do not like to release live cd's.

I will ,of course, buy some version. But this,at first glance, seems to be a bit of a disappointment.A missed opportunity.I would have,no question, put up big $$$ if a live DVD (not Sydney),or a live cd from that period was included.Oh well.Cant say Im shocked, just disappointed.
  8. Think some need to remember it's Achtung Baby's reissue, not a celebration of ZooTv. I wish they'd included more live material but it's not what this release is aimed at.
  9. My will is bending at this point. I kinda want the super deluxe since it looks awesome and is only ridiculously expensive as opposed to soul crushingly expensive
