I don't think the standard 1CD re-issue is a good deal at all. If I was to buy just the "essential", I'd go for the 2CD edition with the B-sides and extra tracks. I still think I'll get the Super Deluxe edition with the 6CDs and 4DVDs.

So we know what the packages look like....but still don't know if it's been remastered or what a lot of the content is.

I'm either going 2CD, super deluxe, or nothing at all. I need to know what's on all of those DVD's before I decide.

Just read that Patti Smith is going to be covering Until The End of the World. Which will be fan-fucking-tastic. She is brilliant.

Also, it amuses the crap outta me that Bono gets the quote wrong when he's talking about Patti Smith's song in that article I linked. That's so him.
