1. I don't think U2 themselves filmed a full show for this tour. The Dortmund show was a television broadcast and they don't own the rights to it. (It also was not a full Unforgettable Fire show even if you add the tracks that were not broadcast). I think that is why there is no full live concert from The Unforgettable Fire tour, they don't own/have one, at least one that is suitable for this kind of release.

Yes, but there are plenty of 1985-86 recorded shows that essentially had a Unforgettable Fire setlist...

Bono has mentioned before that Brussels 84 was recorded. Possibly only Bad but there were cameras at the 84 gig none the less
  4. now available on bol.com as well
  5. wish there were some preview clips somewhere or something.
  6. Yep
Not sure which one to buy
Just gonna wait when Mediamarkt offers then. Makes quite a difference. And I'm Dutch so...
  7. It is worth remembering that U2's first UF tour was put together quickly and wasn't much more than the War tour with a couple easily-to-perform tracks, like Pride. If you read the U2 Live books it's pretty well documented that the band suffered and struggled with the material about as much as they did with Pop. It's not a coincidence they started doing more cover versions with that tour.

I'm not surprised they don't have a full show.

Very true, and welcome to the forum!
Definitley the UF spirit wasn't started until way later in the tour, but it's still too bad we don't have a show from that point, with all of the good UF songs. Homecoming, WIre, UF, Bad, Pride, MLK, maybe even Indian Summer Sky?
