  1. One of the great things about the Dark Knight is how the story has so much depth, and takes on multi-layered meanings and themes, that set it apart from all the other superhero movies. It really is more of a crime epic in the vein of Godfather, Heat etc.

    I know, it's more than a blow shit up for the heck of it kind of thing, it makes you think and feel We need more movies like that. And we DEFINITELY need more summer blockbusters like that
