  1. Yes, other wise it will be deleted from the iPod. If you don't want to put a song on the iPod, but want to keep the file on the comp, just uncheck it.

    Yes. I have 31.24 GB on my comp, but have unchecked most of it for only 8GB of it goes on the iPod.

    Actually, its not even really 8GB, its really 7.?? GB
