  1. Yeah, really Slash was the only thing the band had going for it. All the GnR fans used to say,
    '...he's nothing compared to Slash, now there's a guitarist' and such.

    I don't have Because of the Times, but I have about 3 songs that I really love Although Knocked Up is a bad opening song for an album IMO

    Slash is'nt that great a guitarist though, I can name some much better ones

    Don't go by what others say on something. Chinese Democracy is a hard album to get into, but it is worth the time.

    Not related to them in any way, now that I know who is in the band, but I can't stand these new bands. I prefer the old way of playing...which is playing to your fullest, not to what kids think is hard rock. Look at the Stones, still rocking out and still putting out damned good albums.

    I've heard from many followers of AC/DC that Black Ice is a piece of shit. Anyone else heard the new stuff and would tend to agree? I do like Anything Goes on it.

    I don't have any of the newer Stones albums, but I saw Shine A Light in IMAX, amazing, those guys can still put on a great show

    There are still some great new bands, you just have to look hard for them

  12. Well, I just looked for some of their stuff. Not as new as I thought - 1981. But then the music I've got here isn't exactly new either. But it's damned good.

    Do you like experimental stuff?
