'...he's nothing compared to Slash, now there's a guitarist' and such.

Slash is'nt that great a guitarist though, I can name some much better ones

Don't go by what others say on something. Chinese Democracy is a hard album to get into, but it is worth the time.

Velvet Revolver was pretty good while it lasted

  4. Velvet Revolver look pretty good.

Not related to them in any way, now that I know who is in the band, but I can't stand these new bands. I prefer the old way of playing...which is playing to your fullest, not to what kids think is hard rock. Look at the Stones, still rocking out and still putting out damned good albums.

I've heard from many followers of AC/DC that Black Ice is a piece of shit. Anyone else heard the new stuff and would tend to agree? I do like Anything Goes on it.

I don't have any of the newer Stones albums, but I saw Shine A Light in IMAX, amazing, those guys can still put on a great show

There are still some great new bands, you just have to look hard for them

I don't have that one, but I'll ask around, I know some people who may have it

  8. Oh I know there's heaps of them around. Have you heard of someone called Queenrysche?

  9. No, but my photography teacher and I were talking about music the other day, and she told me to check them out. Are they good?
    Have you heard the Strokes?

  10. Well, I just looked for some of their stuff. Not as new as I thought - 1981. But then the music I've got here isn't exactly new either. But it's damned good.

    Do you like experimental stuff?
  11. Apparently the new AC/DC album is quite good, certainly better than Chinese Democracy.

And I dislike GnR's approach to music, they are typical rock stars and go about making music in a typical headbanger fashion.

Which is why I like U2, because they approach music from a completely different angle

Sometimes it's nice to have that heavy in your face rock n' roll The Who made music like that, but it was still different and great
