1. That is the real song. The b-side(to goyb) is on mininova, which does sound different

  2. I'm confued is the link wieger posted NLOTH2 or NLOTH1

And is the mininova torrent a high quality NLOTH2 (320kbps)? NLOTH1? or the alternate version of GOYB?
  3. The link is the album version, which we only have 30 seconds of. The song we've all been hearing is the alternate version, and there's also a remix out there.

Someone just leak the damn album already!!! This is killing me.

So you mean they have a link to the entire album version of NLOTH?
If so why isn't everyone downloading it?
  5. No the link goes to a site that has the 30 sec. clips. We don't have the full album version of NLOTH.
  6. By the way this article from the Guardian, hints that NLOTH will be followed up with a more low key album made from 'quieter, more meditative' songs from the NLOTH sessions

... but the song is fine the way it is, unadorned, evocative, suggestive. You don't have to know what it's about to feel its quiet power or sense its sadness. "It's kind of pastoral,"
said Bono. It bodes well for the album that will follow No Line On the Horizon, which has, he says, "the idea of pilgrimage at its centre", and is made up of the "quieter, more meditative songs" that did not make it on to this one. "Intimacy is the new punk rock," Bono added, laughing. But is it the new stadium rock?
  7. the 30 sec clip of NLOTH definitely does not lead me to believe it is punk rock. that sounds waaaay ambient, but i won't judge til I hear it for real
  8. I think it starts slow and builds up. But "punk rock" is no doubt an exaggeration.

Maybe they could release an album of meditative punk rock songs.
  9. i just hope they don't think the bside is version is punk rock . the album version better be louder than this
  10. Getting close now, a full page advert from a magazine....
