    1) What the hell did they do with Bono's eyes Kinda EMO actually...

    2) I read some stuff here about Mercy not being on the album...

    Well according to the music stores in Belgium, this is the setlist...

    4) One Bird
    5) No Line On The Horizon
    6) It's Six O'Clock
    7) If I Could Live My Life Again
    8) Love Is All We Have Left
    9) North Star
    10) Mercy
    11) Lead Me In The Way I Should Go
    12) You Can't Give Away Your Heart

    Look, i have absolutely NO IEDA where they've based themselves one for given this information, but i just wanted to post it here as the other songs (like moment of surrender, it's six o' clock... etc. were also mentioned so i think this COULD be the actual playlist...

    To ALL of you, a merry Chrismas (like, 2 days ago, but still )
    & a very good 2009, let it be the 'Year of U2' !!!
  2. Where is Breathe and Get On Your Boots? Especially the last one should be on the album because the shot a video with girls with big boots or something....

    it's probably based on the rumors that were around...it doesn't include songs like winter or others...

    That fake setlist has been going around for months. It's such a clear fake though, with all the HTDAAB outtakes and only working titles known at that stage. Especially the title "It's Six O'Clock" is ridiculous...that was just mentioned as the opening lyric of a song
  7. Listened to all the beach clips again. And again, track 1 and 4 are the best. The others don't really impress me. I hope they reworked them all though.

  11. A friend was telling me that Universal Europe was listing Mercy, also.

    In the end, it don't mean a thing until there is an 'official' tracklist, from Principle Mgmt.

    Thus far, we've not gotten that. Even per the "Q" early review, they didn't have which version of "No Line On The Horizon" they were to put on the album.

    Maybe "Mercy" will be there, maybe it won't. Maybe it's there but altered with different lyrics, maybe not. Maybe it will be a B-Side, and maybe not. But to say that "It's so HTDAAB" or it doesn't fit the new album, when we've not actually heard the new album yet... well, that it speculative.

    But then again, that is the fun of pre-release time... all the guessing and speculation.

    I for one would like to see Mercy as at least a B-side for the new album. Time will tell. And if it isn't, I have the version that leaked in 2004, so I won't be crushed.

    I agree, but I think track 2 'Breathe' is quite good (though not their best song ever as Eno says) , it sounds like a ATYCLB track. 'Unknown Caller' ie track 1 is breathtaking though.

    4 'Magnificent?' sounds a bit boring on the beach clips, but has probably improved since.
    Track 3 'Get Your Boots On' though sounds silly, the chorus is crap, and track 5 is plain boring.
    BTW Anyone know/guess what track 5 is?, it's mostly acoustic, sounds like something you would sing sitting around a fire at a beach.

    And with regards to the whole Mercy not fitting on the album, it could, it's not impossible, the beach clips sound much like HTDAAB/ATYCLB although taking more risks.
