1. Wait, you can choose to get tickets in PDF and then print them at your home?

  2. The sound in that arena is terrible. As is the traffic situation. I'd prefer Düsseldorf, Cologne or Hanover.
Still undecided about Amsterdam, heard bad things about the sound there, too. My brother bought tix just in case...

I'll do Barcelona and Paris for sure. Rest depends on the quality of the show and on my budget. Maybe Berlin (if I can get a cheap ticket again) and Nice, too.

Ah that's too bad. Makes me think twice about that
Sound in Amsterdam is bad as hell too, but it depends on where you stand. If you stand in the first half of the field, sound is fine. Rest of the stadium including almost all seatings, worse, lots of echoos. Just listen to the bootlegs, you will hear it. It's a big bathtub. I couldn't hear any of Bono's spoken words last tour.

I'll do Barcelona too, if I can share some tickets too, but I'm hopefull

not fancy skipping all that to come and hear Bono make Dublin jokes?

  5. I didn't think the sound in gelsenkirchen was bad. I stood in the crowd, thought it sounded good. it does indeed depend on where you stand/sit.

If it's just like Amsterdam ArenA it's important if you sit or stand. Sitting is often more worse in such venues. But yes, it all depends, maybe the sound system is good.

I have to disagree with you concerning the sound. I attended numerous concerts in Gelsenkirchen, I was down in GA, in the standing area of Nordkurve, and on seats all over the arena -- the sound was always really good.

I do have to agree on the traffic situation, though. You easy get a parking place when you arrive -- but leaving is a huge problem since all streets get stuck completely for at least one hour after the concert is over. Always wise to get another bite to eat or spend some time chatting with friends before heading to your car

A good sound for one can be a very weak sound for another
Just depends on what you're used to

Ah well, that it all gets stuck after the concert happens everywhere. No exception in Amsterdam, you have a lot of time to get back to earth in your car with the traffic situation there
  10. hit the bar after the gig and collect the car the morning after. Easy with Dublin as the stadium is practically in the city center

I hope the sound is good. But more so, I hope that it won't get cancelled!
I'm not able to go to Amsterdam (booked my holiday abroad... ), and Gelsenkirchen is the obvious choice (two hour drive). If they ditch Gelsenkirchen altogether, then maybe I opt for Paris od London. Would that be a good choice?
