1. Talking about Salt Lake City, the supporter seems to be Lenny Kravitz:

Maybe a little too big? I mean, I'd gladly have him as the U2 supporter in any show I atteded, but... He's a worldwide successfull artist with a long career and a big fan base. Maybe supporting U2 is a little degrading for him?
  2. Like Pearl Jam in Honolulu 2006?

I was on two his shows last two years and it was great... And under the Claw it must be great. Lucky Salt Lake City
  3. Yes, but Pearl Jam and U2 are friends, and the Honolulu ocassion was a once in a lifetime one... But I don't think that LK will support just one show, if he's the supporter for SLC, he will be for more cities methinks.

  4. Is Lenny Kravitz still releasing new material? He hasn't been heard of in the UK for ages!
  5. Tickets might not be selling well in Chicago. Just saw a few ads for the first time in the newspaper about tickets and them being in Chicago for one night only.

I don't think so, just because U2 is bigger than everything in my opnion...

And he could do it just for fun too...

It was announced when the 3rd leg was announced that New York/NJ and Chicago were the only two cities they'd be returning to on the 3rd leg, as opposed to newer cities they'd be playing the first time. Paul McG said this was because it was where the most money came out of, and consequently the most (economically) successful shows were, so they'd hit them up again, but he clearly stated that it would be a one night stand. The 3rd leg is supposed to be getting 360° out to the rest of the country, not re-doing everything.

So actually quite the opposite- the money Chicago gave them in 09 is one of the only reasons they're coming back

My shows in NY and Philly are not sold out as well. That was a bit of a shock to me at first. But,Im sure its the insane prices of the tix.I just checked ticketmaster for 2 seats, best available, for the Chicago gig.2 tix, section 309..3 levels up from the GA.....309 !!....... row 5..$536.46....Thats madness. Those seats suck. They should go for $75..maybe.Im seeing PJ at MSG 05.20.10 $75 Orchestra seats in front of the stage.DMB Iam also seeing in NYC,07.17.10 .$85 for GA tix.Iam attending 2 shows this summer for 360 leg 3.Philly and NY/NJ.Sec 100 seats.$110.Thats a fair price. But $250 for some seats???And level 3??? That is the reason more than half of their U.S. shows for leg 3 are not sold out.I know the band have to jack up the price of the ticket for the stage, but if that is the case, then go back to a basic stage,as they did on Vertigo,Elevation tours. After all..it is about the MUSIC.Not a spaceship as Bono calls it.But $250 for some seats, thats bullshit ..
  10. I saw this on interference: It's from 1-2-2010.

  12. On Interference:

Here is an update on the ticket sales so far. There are 8 concerts on ticketmaster that have multiple tickets left in certain price levels. The other 7 concerts are either totally sold out or have only single tickets left in certain price levels. Here are the results as of today. Salt Lake City is sold on smithstix.com and there are currently 6,556 seats left. Since Rice Eccles Stadium has a capacity of 46,500 they have sold 39,944 seat tickets and probably 5,000 or so field tickets.
