  3. I have a pre-sale query:

    lets say for example you have a pre-sale boots priority (third wave of purchasers on the afternoon of day 2 of the pre-sale) and you have identified a choice of two shows that you want tickets for (example cardiff or Wembley) but you only want General Admission tickets.

    You log into the presale for Wembley, but all that is left are seats as the GA pre-sdales have sold out, can you then decide not to buy them and log into the Cardiff pre-sale in the hope that there are GA tickets left there??

    ideas and experiences welcomed please.

    No you can't, U2 has to reset your code first.

    it would depend on whether there are ga tickets left.lets say that wembley doesnt have ga tickets so you go to cardiff and that doesnt neither.then personally this is what im going to do with new york tickets.

    im in boots category.if there are no g.a tickets left.im going to buy the best tickets avalable to me at that time and in my price range.

    then im going on to the general sale to see if i can get g,a tickets there.if i can,then my lesser presale tickets will be sold.

    if i dont,then i will have u2 tickets anyway.

    if there are no g.a tickets available to you,then get the next best thing and try youre luck on the general sale.

    you never know though you may get g.a tickets on the presale.i hope i do.even if i am in boots presale.

  6. cheers for the replies, hopefully as the pre-sales progress people will post what they have managed to get, so that those joining in late know which gig to go for.

    A ticket for a gig is a hell of a lot better than waiting for the general sale and possibly missing out totally.


  7. That can't be done, the site will tell you your presale code has already been used. That was 4 years ago the case and I wouldn't count on it to be solved.

    I bet that U2.com will be inundated with requests to re-set codes and they will struggle to re-set them.


  9. Mwoah, it wasn't that bad 4 years ago. It's just a weird system. But maybe it's livenation centralised now, and fixed.

  11. When peaple used the Presale today, Did the site link to livenation to buy the tickets, so if lets say i wanted to go the the Ajax Arena gig, it would link me to the Dutch Livenation? Just wonder if my lack of French would be a problem if i wanted to go to the pairs gig

    Yep, and for the Dutch it was linked to Eventim after that.
    Just look it up at www.livenationinternational.com. Maybe the site is also available in English.
