    I am both excited and annoyed at having to wait 4+ years for new material, my biggest concern atm is not the album, but the lead single, and I am keen to see how it is perceived by music listeners in general, let alone the fans.

    But it already seems, without a doubt that this will be their best album of the 00s, so I cannot help but be excited.

  2. Just listened to AB and HTDAAB, I'm getting more and more excited. I'm once discovering what a great band U2 is, and how they can never top an album like Achtung Baby. Greatest thing my CD player will ever see.
  3. I'm very excited, but I am not listening to U2 at the moment. I know once the album comes out that is all I will listen to, so no rush.
  4. ive been waiting for this moment for quite a long time. can't wait to listen to the new album for the first time. after i ve been in the vertigo concert in sao paulo i sure hope ill get the chance to be in one of the concerts.
  5. I am quite excited, yet I feel calm about the first single release. I guess it's my confidence in the band that it'll be something great once again
  6. Aside from the Bootleg Round Table show, I haven't listened to any U2 boot or album for a couple days, and I'm going to try not to for the next five days. I want a fresh listen after all the rumors and speculation that's been going on for the past year or so.
  7. Oh Yes!!!

    I started at the New Year by going to a U2 Tribut Band Show!! It just kicked it all off for me!

    I Watched the Hawaii Video again!

    Also It seems XMSirius has been playing a U2 Song every hour, when I hear it the DJ comes on and says "new U2 next week, New U2 March 3!!"

    The excitement is rising and the suspense is killing me!

  9. Listening to Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol and Kaiser Chiefs these days and some 'unreleased and rare' U2-stuff. I'm looking forward to the single and album, but I can wait and therefore I hope it won't leak.

    i want to hear the new songs i want to know the tour dates
    i hope it will not be in my summer holiday ....
    well if that happens i wanna go to see the show outside holland ....

    i want to see them perform ......
  11. I'm not in a very U2ish mood, but I'm pretty excited. It's been a long time. I am sure of one thing: if it's U2 what's written in the label of the new album, I will like it. I'm sure. Whether the album is astonishing or disapointing for the rest of the fans, I will like it. Therefore, I'm excited

    PS. Am I the only one staring at the sun? I mean, am I the only one who liked that Van Diemen's Land performance?
