  3. Getting Ready To Leave The Ground
    It was so cold when the band arrived to rehearse for today's 'Obama Inaugural Celebration' that Adam's face was completely obscured by his scarf... but the reception for 'Pride' and 'City of Blinding Lights' was hot.


    The band arrived late afternoon yesterday, just as Bruce Springsteen was completing his rehearsals, and they did two run-through's each of 'Pride (in The Name of Love)' and 'City of Blinding Lights'.

    'I feel like I’m party crashing the American dream,' said Bono. Washington DC, from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, looked so beautiful tonight.

    We caught a couple of shots of the band well wrapped up to face the sub-zero temperatures...

    Word is that they are on stage around 4pm (ET)

  9. As a citizen sometimes it's easy to take things for granted. I've actually enjoyed hearing what everyone's had to say. I can honestly say for the first time in adult life that I am really, REALLY proud to be an American.

    NOW HURRY UP AND GET U2 ON!!!!!
