1. i've heard rumors of 2 Spanish gigs (inc Seville). Still holding out for Madrid but sad it won't be the Bernabeu. Would have been unreal

  2. omg that would indeed be very sad!
i want to travel to spain next year but also see them in a great stadium with masses of awesome spanish fans

if bernabeu is not possible i'd rather prefer estadio vincente calderon in madrid before seeing them in this small stadium, if it turns out to be true i cannot undestand this decision

    we'll see ...

  3. thats true but isn't the new mestalla stadium ready for the next football season in august/september 2010?

  4. I like the ideia that U2 is playing in "different" and smaller cities, but the biggest ones must have an U2 concert (Madrid is one ot then).
  5. What about those italian dates? No news regarding Torino and Rome?
    Would like to go there...
  6. Sadly it's not sure... Right now, the construction is already taking place (after having been stopped for over 8 months, because Valencia F.C. was passing through a heavy economical crisis) and it's planned to be finished at the end of 2010... They can't book it if they aren't sure that it will be finished, it's logical.

Let's see, I called the Press Chief of Live Nation yesterday evening and he told me that the 2nd cocnert (he didn't say "second city", though) will be announced this week... Anxious
  7. +1

We are all waiting. Ireland, Spain, UK, Italy...
  8. Any other U.S cities possible other than what has already been announced for 2010? More east coast? Just wondering, if not Miami it is.
  9. Hi guys

    How are you?

Midia here in Brazil is reporting that U2 is going to play here in November (3 dates in Sao Paulo and one date in Rio de Janeiro). U2.com didn't say nothing till now, so I'll wait for the official confirmation, but the rumors of this are very strong here.

Just one of many links reporting the news (in Portuguese):

    http://blog.estadao.com.br/blog/diretodafonte/?title=back_to_brazil&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1

    Keeping the fingers crossed here

  10. Apparently they r doing NZ in Oct/November next year. If this is true then i guess Aus will be about the same time, no point bringing the claw all the way down there and not stopping by in Aus.
