  1. Unless there is a huge change in plans, the dates that have been announced and sold are all there are.

    McGuinness has said that in a few different interviews.

    But as usual, time will tell and band/management do change their minds.
  2. Still hopeful for Dublin. Why apply for permissions if there are no plans to play. There have always been late additions to tours.

    I agree . Im fairly certain there will be at leat one . Ya cant go on national television announcing an exclusive and stating the gig is on . In fairness he actually was the lad who was first to annouce the 3 croke park 360 shows but im still going to e-mail that lad loads of abuse either way

    There is talk in Dublin of them playing some form of opening ceremony for the Aviva but that would at the most only be a couple of songs and is not worth a shite . U2.com announced there would be definitely no second slane show and 8 days later tickets were on sale


    We should probably have this lad killed anyway , just to make us feel better

  6. ALL EUROPE SHOWS ANNOUNCED FOR 2010

    In case you're wondering, all of U2's 2010 European shows are now announced.

    The tour will visit Russia, Turkey, Greece and Finland among others places, as per www.u2.com/tours http://www.u2.com/tours.

    But U2 Tour Promoter Arthur Fogel has urged fans to be aware. 'Fans should always check U2.com first, it's the most reliable on any dates. Recent rumours, like Dublin and Tel Aviv, are unfounded.'

  8. I am from Cincinnati Ohio and usually travel to Chicago , Columbus, or Cleveland too see them . For once I would love to see them come to Cincinnati. The band hasn't been here since the October tour.

    Must be playing something in the background. We'll wait and see. It's a bit contradictive, in one way they say all shows are announced and later they say to check u2.com on any dates as reliable source.
  10. A friend of mine talked to her friend who works at Rice Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City today. According to her friend U2 just finalized a show in Salt Lake City for this summer in early June. That date makes perfect sense since SLC is very close to Anaheim and Denver.

    Because of the date suggested, it makes me think the rumor may be true because neither my friend nor her friend are fans of U2 and, therefore, likely don't follow U2's future tour schedule. So it seems like an unlikely coincidence that they would start a rumor with a date that would make perfect sense.

  12. i'm thinking (hopeing) they will come to the uk and ireland at the end of the tour next year as larry said they wainted to finnish the tour in ireland
