    Well I'll put it this way - Brazil and South Africa are two that are better but unfortunately, they are doing the 2010 and 2014 World Cups respectively. You are facing competition from Spain & Portugal and United States. I think they are both better than England because they have better atmosphere and better stadiums. Anyway, this is off topic. I'll leave it for another day
  7. News are reporting U2 to tour Oz in December this year.

    This was running in the morning and again tonight and reporting it pretty much as "fact".

  9. I wouldn't get your hopes up too soon. If they are planning to announce these dates along with the North American dates we all know that is ages away. As someone who had to endure the agonising wait for the Vertigo concerts to be re-scheduled U2 like to take their time and gets things right.

    I would also think it would be unlikely that they would be booking in future dates for certain before Bono can have a 'trial leg' through Europe and see how he manages it.

    Having said that, I will cry if they don't arrive on our eastern shores soon!


  10. More a sign of premature reporting without any official confirmation rather than anything else I'm afraid. Richard Wilkins was the first on Today show this morning and news bulletins then jumped on the bandwagon.
  11. Seems Bono's recovery is going well and it looks like he'll make it
    for the start of the tour. But an official word would be nice. On the other hand, one wrong move and he's back to the start
