1. But all the shows sold out....

    Sorry for the joke....

  2. It's the first time I hear about this. This is something Oprescu declared today and it was published in the evening. Now he is talking about a concert after the match with Argentina. He says he will find out tonight if they will accept to play on August 30th, right after the match. Knowing U2, I don't see it happening this way. They couldn't play with the claw on the field
Anyway, they first said early September, so maybe the match will take place, they will install the scene in the next days and play after that.
Maybe they are close to announce some more dates? I mean, the mayor has been very explicit, I don't think the u2 staff would be very happy with that if some announcements were not close. They do everything in great secrecy, right?
Either way, something will come out soon.
  3. I see, thanks for the reply. Anyway, we'll see. Or not
  4. 4 days till the start of the South American leg and we still do not have nothing
  5. Yeah, a confirmation for the possible European leg was said to be done around this time... I'm losing hopes more and more

  6. don't say that, Sergio..... don't say what I'm beginning to believe as well... .... it would be time now, really....no new European tour dates to put the Claw down decently.... been really quiet lately, you're right....
  7. not to put fake hopes but .. when did they announce the dates in 2009? march for july? .. so there's a little bit of time left
    i'm not optimistic too anyway
  8. They may want to get out a record before they add new legs to the tour...
  9. But new albums are normally announced several months before their release...
