1. Don't know where you got your information from, but it sure sounds wrong. Edge phoned and said they were in my front yard! Johnny Cash, Michael Jackson and James Brown were all gonna be there doing a great version of A Sort of Homecoming and Two Hearts Beat As One.

    Expect a great bootleg!

  2. I met a cool guy in Chicago this weekend who is the director of IT for U2 as well as a bunch of other big wigs. He was chatting with a me and friend and didnt even tell us who he was until about thirty minutes into our conversation. We thought we were just chatting with a mega fan like us. He then started telling us amazing stories and showing us pics and I was like Wow who is this guy? He has worked for U2 thru his comany for 20 years and had the info to back it up. But long story short, he said U2 will be playing Euope and america again next year. And being from Philly he said he was stoked they were going to be back in July to play his hometown. The guy is legit, he showed me pics if him on his Blackeberry awarding Bono a medal to hanging with Eddie Vedder in Hawai. And then during the first night he was in the inner circle and we said high and he had an all access badge. So I think we are going to get another couple of legs at least.

Isn't the main piece of IT this tour a PlayStation controller?

Those coupe of legs at least better include Australia.
  5. Sounds logical the 2nd European leg will be a long one, after all the one we just had was rather small, compared to other U2 stadium legs...

    Not really.
This leg was a little shorter than earlier european stadium legs (~5-7 shows) but the stage concept and therefore the bigger capacities made up for it.
I wouldn't expect a much longer european leg in 2010. After all, that's one of the main factors why they decided to go 360° - playing less shows but reaching bigger audiences.

The only problem is that the newspapers "Österreich" and "Blikk" where these "news" come from are notorious for making up stories... So I wouldn't book on these dates.

Well, this is just rumors thread, anyway.
  9. There's only one reliable site for tour dates and that's U2.com
Better not buy tickets before anything is officially confirmed
by the band themselves and certainly not from those scalpers.
  10. Just out of interest.....when do future legs get announced after the tour has started??
