1. Depeneding on the field, I would say GAs can hold up to 20 000. This is a fact: The Olympic stadium in Stockholm has a seated capacity of 14 500, and when Springsteen played there this summer there were 33 000 spectators each of the three nights he played. If the stadium is bulit for track and field, it can hold more people in GA.That example goes för Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg, as well.

    Not crazy.

And the arena's you listed are indoor. No chance.

MK Bowl is possible. Old Trafford or such.

It won't be any football stadiums as the new season will have started in the UK by then. It would need to be the lesser used stadiums again, Murrayfield/Hampden, Wembley, Millennium etc.
  3. Supposedly blocked dates:

    Zurich Aug. 4./5.
    Rome Aug 7./8.
    Brussels Sept. 21./22.

  4. Looks like I have to find a place to sleep in Brussels then....!

  5. 2 blocked dates doesn't mean 2 gigs, though.

  6. thats right, but it's just a nice thought....
and it got you your 4000 st post!

  7. I hope Frankfurt will remain leg opener.
  8. Maybe Leg opener will be in UK somewhere? Hope springs eternal!
  9. Hey all,

I'm a little bummed the past couple days. I lived in Maryland 3 years ago and now I live in Pittsburgh (Yeah I said Hello to President Obama last week for all you Obama lovers). So normally I would have gone to last nights show in D.C (Landover, Md. to be exact). My sister and her husband went, and my friend from down there went last night. So I'm not only bummed out about that, I'm bummed at the fact that there have been no concrete tour dates for the states in 2010, particuliarly Pittsburgh. So I'm hoping and praying that they will come back in the Spring. I know they have put out dates for Europe and Russia next year already. I find it odd that they would come out with those dates first if "rumor" has it that they are playing the States again in the Spring. Anybody got some info about this let me know.
    Thanks

It has been said here before, and I think it is a valid point. U2 is still touring the States and has several shows not sold out. It wouldn't make sense to announce dates and let people wait until next year to buy tix. I think once the tour ends we will see the US dates announced.
  11. Heard the EU-leg for their tour in 2012 will be confirmed tomorrow..

  12. By then maybe they can pay off all the tour costs
