I think I'm right in saying that they skipped Ireland for one of the ZooTv European legs, but surely they wouldn't skip the UK or the home country?

How many do you plan to attend?

If Madrid goes official I am obviously in, and probably in Dublin if finally a date surfaces.

3 shows maximum if there are no Ireland or UK dates.
  4. Looks like it's gonna be no Dublin next year..I'd be surprised if they announce Ireland dates..a shame really

  5. Well if you take a look at a map Helsinki is a hell of a lot closer to St Petersburg than to Moscow......
  6. I can't see Eire and UK both skipped. THey might not play Dublin and London, right, but there are more options. Cork + Sheffield, Belfast + Liverpool... Plenty.

skipping Ireland in 92 was more to do with the lack of suitable indoor venue than anything else.

They might add a UK (and maybe Ireland but no big chance I think) leg after Coimbra
  9. I don't need a map to know that, but who cares of the distances? I'm saying that a russian would prefer attending St. Peter + Moscow, instead of Oslo + Helsinki or whatever. I'd rather seeing 2 shows in my country, even though I had to move a lot of kilometers, than seeing 2 shows at foreign countries which are closer to me... Don't you?

Considering the quality of roads in former communistic countries, I wouldn't wonder if some Russians chose Helsinki over Moscow...

Approximate driving times to St Petersburg: From Helsinki - 5 hours 30 minutes; Moscow - 10 hours 30

    I know what I'd choose.
  12. I'd choose going by plane, for sure.
