It's not official YET! But it looks as if our earlier story that U2 will wrap up their mega 360°Tour with in Ireland has been confirmed.
Larry Mullen Jr - in New York at the weekend for the Gavin Friday gig - says his first wish would be Belfast.
"I'd like to finish it in Ireland," he said. "Personally I would love to play in Belfast."
Mullen says he loves Ireland and wouldn't live anywhere else.
"I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying in Ireland, my kids are there, I love living there."
The band is looking at a September date for the "surprise" gig and a quick look at their gig schedule puts them in Europe for September 2010.
Specifically, the band will be in Athens, Istanbul, Munich, Paris, Brussels and Seville during September.
It's also been reported that U2 360 Tour crew members have booked hotel rooms in Ireland’s capital right after those dates.
The 360° Tour has been the band's biggest to date and has wowed crowds at every sold-out stop.
The hard-working band wraps up the North American leg in Vancouver on October 28 and then they go back on the road next May until fall 2010.

I refuse to get excited about Belfast. Dublin is hopefully a certainty though.
Just no venues up North

First thing in my mind that came up, farewell concert, if they really want to "wrap" it up in Ireland
There was a last minute arranged Popmart concert in Belfast, not sure where it was.
