I played one at a guitar shop when we were in NYC.... it actually wasn't as awkward as you would think. And it has an amazing tone. They're extremely rare and expensive, so I'll probably just save up for a mustang.

Bitchy girls and gay guys play the flute
Less bitchy girls and less gay guys play the clarinet and oboe
Trumpets can either be HUGE band geeks or stupid guys
Saxes are usually the biggest geeks in the band
Trombones and Tubas are big guys who won't admit that they enjoy band
French Horns are nutjobs, every last one
And Percussionists are the only ones who are normal
