  2. I bought the box set about 5 minutes ago! It totaled $42.15, I found a $27 gift card in my wallet so it was a great buy!

    I agree. I'll just buy one plain ol' physical copy and save my cash for tickets.
  4. I think I'll buy the second digipack one (with the magazine)

    Apparently the only thing the box set gets is extra packaging, a book, exclusivity and a physical copy of the DVD.

    Since both digipack versions allow you to download Linear it seems that you don't need to fork out $100+ for the box set to get any extra songs. Which is good for people who aren't collectors.

    PS: Drew do you know whether JB HI FI has cheaper prices if you buy in store, or if you order online?
  5. I'm still getting the box-set, because I want Linear as a proper copy, not a download.

    The prices in store and ordering online should be identical.

Knowing me, i'll probably end up with at least 3 versions, if the only version available on the day of release is the standard, i'll snap that up no problems, but i also want to box set, i like collecting U2, i'll have a look at the magazine version as well, if it's different to the hard cover in the box set, i'll get that as well.

    Might have to hunt around some second hand cd stores for a promo copy of Boots.

    Apart from second-hand stores, how else can you get them?
  9. I’m not shore whether I should order the basic cd and buy the box set when I get the money ,or if I should hold on a little while and see if I get enough money for the box set
  10. ordered the big box set yesterday per amazon a memorable moment lol.

    I'm trusting the guys to deliver me the box on the day it's released.

    If it's a month after, don't wait. However, youll probably be kicking yourself when you see two versions on your shelf.

    the problem is that i don't know when i'll get some more money

    i agree tha it would be nice to have to versions, as i have both of the U218 cds
